The LA Business Journal wrote a story about the preparations for the 2028 Olympic and Paralympic Games and the impact the Games will have on the region. Chief Tourism Officer Doane Liu discussed how the City can deliver the Games without huge infrastructure or venue investments. In terms of the increased need for labor, Liu said that "we're going to do our best to make sure that visitors keep coming after the Olympics and keep all of those people employed" so that "the benefits that we are getting from hosting the Olympics could last a lifetime."
