The Summit of the Americas took place in LA the week of June 6, 2022. The Summit officially kicked off with an Inaugural Ceremony at Microsoft Theater, where President Biden, Vice President Harris, Mayor Garcetti and Governor Newsom spoke -- watch here. The plenary sessions took place at the LA Convention Center and the ancillary summits were at venues in the Downtown LA area. Additionally, the leaders had dinner at the Getty Villa and the City of Los Angeles hosted a reception for delegates and the community at The Torch at The Coliseum with food trucks, music, and art. We are glad that Los Angeles won this bid to welcome thousands of visitors from the Americas to our great city, and we thank the Mayor's Fund and the Host Committee of the Summit of the Americas for making it possible.
