The LACC Career Academy hosted students at the LA Auto Show in November and L.A. Comic Con in December. CTD partnered with Central High School/Tri-C CDS to bring students to LACC, where they learned about the auto industry and explored the exhibit floor with hundreds of cars. Students from the Fairfax High School Visual Arts Magnet and the Hollywood High School New Media Academy listened to panels on cultural representation in comics and met with artists to hear about their career paths at a Lunch & Learn. The LACC Career Academy is an initiative created in 2021 by CTD to provide underserved youth with the opportunity to meet with inspirational professionals from a variety of industries to learn about interesting professions and career paths. |
