Students from Central High School Tri-C CDS came to the LA Art Show for the LACC Career Academy. The students went on a guided tour of the exhibit hall floor with artist Elyse Herrera and then had lunch with Kassandra Voyagis (Producer/Director of the LA Art Show) and Marisa Caichiolo (DIVERSEartLA curator) to hear about their careers. The LACC Career Academy is an initiative that aims to increase equity in career representation and brings students to the LACC to inspire youth of historically underserved areas to consider diverse and dynamic career paths. CTD partners with industry-leading events to offer a unique opportunity for our community’s youth to meet with leaders and explore careers that they may never have considered.
