The sixth LACC Career Academy took place. Students from Nava College Prep Academy came to the LA Convention Center for National Council for Mental Wellbeing (NatCon) 2023. They listened to a keynote session by Rob Lowe, talked with exhibitors on the show floor, learned about the Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) program, and met with representatives from the California Alliance of Child and Family Services. The LACC Career Academy is an initiative created in 2021 by CTD to provide underserved youth with the opportunity to meet with inspirational professionals from a variety of industries to learn about interesting professions and career paths.
